CDA COVID-19 Updates
3/16 - Emergency Patients Only
The health and safety of both our staff and patients is of our utmost importance. Therefore, we are following the guidelines of the California Dental Association (CDA) and for the next 2 weeks will be seeing only emergency patients. Our phones will be open and we always welcome your calls. We will send updates with eventual changes once they become available. Thank you for your understanding.
FROM THE CALIFORNIA DENTAL ASSOCIATION:
"As the facts and situation around COVID-19 (coronavirus) continue to evolve, and in step with Gov. Newsom's recent Declaration of a State of Emergency, including the call for all seniors over the age of 65 and residents with chronic conditions to self-isolate at home, the California Dental Association is requesting the cooperation of all California dentists and issuing the following guidance:
The California Dental Association strongly recommends that dentists practicing in California voluntarily suspend nonessential or non-urgent dental care for the next 14 days. As always, it is expected that dentists will continue to be available as needed for emergency care and services.
CDA does not make this request lightly, and it is being done out of an abundance of caution during this historic public health emergency. As health care professionals, we all have a role to play in "flattening the curve" in order to follow sound, scientific public health advice to help limit infections and slow the spread of the virus."

3/13 - Message from Dr. Lalisa
A message from our owner and lead dentist on the coronavirus (COVID-19)
To our patients,
There is no higher priority than safety and well being for our patients and employees. We are following the recommendations of OSHA and the Centers of Disease Control.
As dental office we always have been required and always followed the guidelines of cleaning and disinfecting all clinical areas, surfaces, and equipment after each and every patient to avoid cross contamination. We use CDC, FDA and OSHA approved hospital grade disinfectant as well as hand sanitizer containing 70% alcohol and antibacterial hand soap.
We have enhanced our cleaning procedures to include also non-clinical surfaces you may come in contact with.
We are monitoring the situation closely and will change our procedures if necessary according to CDC guidelines.
